Could I not set up Shopify myself?

Yes, and Shopify makes it possible. What takes the time is everything behind the storefront: taxes for the right provinces and states, shipping rates that do not lose money, legal pages that match how you work, and testing the whole thing before a customer does. You are paying for that done right, on a fixed date.

How long does setup take?

7 to 10 business days from the day your brief and accounts are ready. Marketplace Integration, Shopify POS Setup or Advanced Filtering extend it to 12 to 15 business days.

What do I pay, and what do I pay Shopify?

You pay us $3,199 once, plus any add-ons. Separately, Shopify bills you monthly for your plan, and paid apps or a premium theme are billed by their makers. We never mark up those costs, and we tell you before installing anything paid.

Is there a subscription?

No. Everything on this page is paid once. Your setup includes 30 days of support after launch. If you want more, Store Care adds three months, paid once and never renewed. To renew it, email support@boldzee.com.

What happens after the 30 days?

Your store keeps running exactly as it is; nothing depends on us. If you want the specialist who built it to keep maintaining it, order Store Care for three months at a time.

How many products are included?

Three. Add as many more as you need, up to 100, at $299 a product. For more than 103 products in total, email support@boldzee.com.

Can you move my store from another platform?

Yes. Choose Moving from another platform in the intake. Your products are moved as part of your additional product uploads; if you need order or customer history moved too, say so in the notes.

Do I need to buy a premium theme?

No. A free Shopify theme, customized properly, suits most stores. If you want a premium theme, you buy the license and our Premium Theme Installation sets it up.

Will I own my store?

Yes, from day one. Your store, domain, payment account and apps are all in your name. Remove our access whenever you choose.

Do you set up taxes for Canada and the US?

Yes, based on your registrations: GST and HST, provincial taxes and US sales tax where you are registered. We are not accountants; confirm your obligations with yours, and we set the store up to match.

Can I add products myself later?

Yes. Your recorded walkthrough shows you how, and it is the kind of thing most owners do from the first week.

Do you write my product descriptions?

We upload the details you provide and add search-friendly titles and descriptions. If you want new copy written, our Product Page Optimization covers your most important product.

What if something breaks after launch?

Within your 30 days of support, tell your specialist and it gets fixed. After that, Store Care covers it; without it, we will quote before doing any work.
