Cookie Settings

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise the same browser on a later request. Related technologies, including local storage, pixels and tags, work differently but serve similar purposes. Everywhere on this page, “cookies” means all of them.

Some cookies are set by BoldZee. Others are set by the providers we use to run the store, measure traffic and process payments. Both kinds are covered here.

Optional cookies are not set until you consent. When you first visit, you are asked; until you answer, only strictly necessary cookies run.

Changing a setting on this page takes effect immediately. Turning a category off stops the relevant scripts from loading on your next page view and instructs us to delete the cookies already set in that category where we are able to; some third-party cookies can only be removed through your browser, and section 12 explains how.

Refusing optional cookies does not restrict your access to anything. Prices, services, delivery and support are identical either way. We do not treat people differently for saying no.

These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off, because without them core features fail rather than degrade. They keep items in your cart between pages, carry you through checkout, maintain your session if you are signed in, remember which currency you selected, protect against fraudulent and automated requests, and store the cookie choice you made on this page.

They are used solely to operate the site. They do not build a profile of you and are not used for advertising.

Functional cookies remember preferences that make the site more comfortable to use, such as your language, your currency and whether you have dismissed a notice. They are optional.

Switching them off does not break anything. It means the site forgets these preferences and you may need to set them again on your next visit.

Analytics cookies tell us how the site is used: which pages are read, how people move through them, where they leave and which services get attention. We use this to fix what is not working; it is the same discipline we sell, applied to ourselves.

Analytics reporting is aggregated. We use it to understand patterns across visitors, not to identify or track an individual person, and we do not combine it with your order details to build a profile of you.

Advertising cookies measure whether an advertisement led to a visit and whether that visit led to a purchase. Without them we cannot tell which advertising is worth paying for, so we would keep spending on advertising that does not work.

They may be set by advertising platforms and can be used by those platforms to show you BoldZee advertising elsewhere. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense used by California law. Turning this category off has no effect on anything you buy from us.

The table below lists the cookies and similar technologies used on boldzee.com, grouped by category. Durations are approximate and set by the provider. Third parties may change their own cookies without notice, and we review this list periodically.

If you find a cookie on our site that is not on this list, please tell us at support@boldzee.com and we will investigate and correct the page.

Delivered audit reports are hosted at reports.boldzee.com on a private, unlisted link. That environment is deliberately minimal: it sets only what is needed to display your report and to play an embedded Diagnosis Video where you have purchased one.

We do not run advertising cookies on delivered reports. Your report is something you paid for and may forward to your own team, your developer or your agency, and it would be wrong to use it as an advertising surface for us.

Some cookies are set by the providers that run parts of this site rather than by BoldZee directly. These currently include our e-commerce and checkout platform, our payment processor, our analytics and tag management tools, our email platform and, where you consent, advertising platforms.

Those providers process this data under their own privacy terms as well as under our contracts with them. Section 07 of our Privacy Policy sets out who they are and what each one receives.

Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid instruction to opt out of optional cookies, and we apply it automatically without requiring you to set anything on this page.

Do Not Track is not supported consistently across browsers and no common standard defines how a site should respond to it, so we do not rely on it. Use the controls on this page or a Global Privacy Control signal instead; both are honoured.

Your choice is stored in your browser and applies to that browser on that device. It is remembered for twelve months, after which we ask again. Using a different browser, a different device or a private browsing window means the choice is not carried over and you will be asked again there.

Clearing your browser's cookies deletes the record of your choice along with everything else, which means you will be asked again on your next visit. That is a limitation of how the technology works rather than a design decision on our part.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, independently of anything on this page. Every major browser allows you to see what is stored, delete it, block third-party cookies or block cookies entirely, and the relevant controls are usually under privacy or site settings.

Blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will prevent the cart and checkout from working. If you want to restrict tracking while still being able to buy, use the toggles on this page instead, or block third-party cookies only.

We update this page when the technologies we use change, and the updated date at the top always reflects the current version. Where a change introduces a new category of cookie or a materially different purpose, we will ask for your consent again rather than relying on consent you gave for something else.
